Hi there. It's on the wildlife drive, between miles 5 and 6 towards the west of the road. There are 3 owls there (I have seen two at the same time). But they are at a distance, so if you go early morning or late evening, the sunlight hits their feathers and you can see them clearly in the distance.
Awesome. Will this be early morning or later in the day? I would be interested in coming along (but would prefer the early morning light). I understand though that some people don't like waking up early. :-D
This is great. Gary is your map accurate (the one that shows the location of these owls in Pawnee)? I am in Denver and want to make the trip to photograph these owls (maybe on Thursday early morning to catch the morning light). What would be best location to capture them (where the owls aren't too far away from where we are allowed to photograph)? Thanks much and really like your photos.
