Directions: Meet at the Stegosaurus parking lot just south of I-70, exit 259. Drive under the freeway to the second left
turn. The parking lot is at the base of the Hogback, near the Hawk Watch location.
Enjoy an autumn walk in a beautiful ponderosa woodlands. Typical birds such as nuthatches, Townsend's
Solitaire, Steller's Jay, and Red Crossbill plus late fall migrants are possible. Relaxed pace, unpaved trails,
restrooms available. Bring binoculars and plenty of water and snacks, hiking boots are advisable. Register
online or contact leaders.
