Birds are already on the move in August and by September migration is in full swing . Migration in the fall is more spread out than spring migration, with surprises possible around every corner. To add to the fun, molting adults and juveniles with funky plumage make identification an extra challenge. As we always say, “Any bird is possible during migration!” Highlights will include tips o n identifying different species and learning about behavior and habitat needs . At Venetucci Farm we are working to manage the ranch for agriculture and wildlife. Cross Creek is just beginning the process to discover what bird species utilize the park.
Pre -registration is required for all events as group size will be limited to 15.
