Maximum Participants: 10
Directions: Meet at the lower end of the Stegosaurus Park-n-Ride. From I-70, exit 259, drive south under I-70 and take
the second left turn into the Park-n-Ride. We will carpool 65 miles from there to the Bailey Nesting Area. The trailhead
road, about 4 miles, can be driven by most passenger cars.
The trailhead road, about 4 miles, can be driven by most passenger cars. The hike is a moderately steep 4
wheel drive road with some off-trail walking. We will walk less than 3 miles with minimal altitude gain. We
hope to see mountain nesting species and will likely find nests. Moose have been seen in this area. Bring lunch
and water. Register online or contact leader.
